Dibon Subsidiary Dibon Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd Attains CMMI Level 3 Certification
Dibon announced today that the software development and maintenance unit of its subsidiary, Dibon software solutions Pvt. Ltd., has been formally certified as Maturity Level 3 by the Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI®-DEV) version 1.2.
By incorporating the “best practices” for software development, CMMI Level 3 certification shows that we have established well-defined organizational standards and project management processes that meet the requirements for providing the highest quality products and services, on time, to our clients.
Dibon Software Solutions received CMMI Level 3 certification by satisfying the requirements of 17 appraisal model areas using the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPISM) approach. The SCAMPI method involves the review of documents, presentations, as well as interviews with program leaders, quality assurance and configuration management personnel, and organization and project practitioners to determine whether requirements for CMMI Levels have been met.
Dibon began implementing CMMI-based practices in 2006-08. In 2009, Dibon was externally assessed at Level 3 V 1.2 DEV under the Software (SW)- CMM model.
